The Lochland Lodge & Conference Center (formerly The Minary Conference Center of
Dartmouth College) is located on Squam Lake. Its shoreline has been well protected
from development. The White Mountains of New Hampshire rise up from its Northern
shore. These pictures below show that our view has not changed in over 70 years. The
lake provides an abundance of activities for you and your group members to enjoy. Or
just sit back and listen to the call of the loons.
Each season the lake takes on a special quality. Spring is very busy with wildlife
returning for another year. Summer brings warmer temperatures and a cooling breeze
that soothes the soul. Autumn’s foliage brings an eruption of colors as the mountains
are covered in orange, red and yellow. In the winter, a quite solitude blankets the lake
as the first snow begins to fall.
At Lochland Lodge, the busy world is close by and yet a world away!
